Starting from this release, the Diagnostic Report also checks to see whether the synthetic data meets all the business rules that are present in the dataset.
Business rules are provided to SDV as constraints. Providing constraints to synthesizer ensures that it learns the business rules. Now, you can supply those same constraint definitions when evaluating your synthetic data too. The diagnostic report now includes a Constraint Validity sub-score determined by validating all of the synthetic data against each constraint.
The Diagnostic Report represents the “SDV Guarantee”. We expect the score to be 100% for synthetic data that is created from an SDV synthesizer.
