# SDV Enterprise 0.52 (Sep 29, 2026) - Validating Constraints in the Synthetic Data

## What’s New?

✅ Starting from this release, the [Diagnostic Report](https://docs.sdv.dev/sdv/evaluation/diagnostic) also checks to see whether the synthetic data meets all the business rules that are present in the dataset.

🧠 Business rules are provided to SDV as [constraints](https://docs.sdv.dev/sdv/modeling/constraint-augmented-generation-cag). Providing constraints to synthesizer ensures that it learns the business rules. Now, you can supply those same constraint definitions when evaluating your synthetic data too. The diagnostic report now includes a [Constraint Validity](https://docs.sdv.dev/sdmetrics/data-metrics/diagnostic#constraint-validity) sub-score determined by validating all of the synthetic data against each constraint.

💯 _The Diagnostic Report represents the “SDV Guarantee”. We expect the score to be 100% for synthetic data that is created from an SDV synthesizer._

**0.52.1 (Oct 6, 2026)**: Small corrections to some error messages that were worded ambiguously.
