_Release Date: March 18, 2025_ This release continues to add features for higher quality synthetic data generation and ease-of-use. 🌟 **Model hierarchical relationships in a table.** Use the [SelfReferentialHierarchy](https://docs.sdv.dev/sdv/reference/constraints/constraint-augmented-generation-cag/selfreferentialhierarchy) CAG pattern when you have a column in a table that references the same table. This represents a hierarchical relationship between the rows. πŸ“¦ **Program your synthesizers with bulk updates.** Update the data preprocessing for many columns at once using our bulk [update function](https://docs.sdv.dev/sdv/multi-table-data/modeling/customizations/preprocessing#update_transformers_by_sdtype). This is compatible with any of the preprocessing transformers in the [RDT library](https://docs.sdv.dev/rdt). β™» **Rewrite your metadata file as you update it.** Accurate metadata is crucial for high quality synthetic data. As you inspect and update your metadata, you can now [rewrite it back](https://docs.sdv.dev/sdv/reference/metadata-spec/metadata-api#save_to_json) to the same file so it’s ready-to-use in your synthesizer. _Additional updates: Starting from this release, the X Synthesis bundle has now been renamed to[**X Synthesizers**](https://docs.sdv.dev/sdv/reference/explore-sdv/xsynthesizers-bundle).
