SDV Enterprise 0.46 (Mar 31, 2026)

What’s New?

:sparkles: SDV is now able to automatically detect constraints by looking at your data. Constraints are a way to enforce business logic and data lineage rules. SDV guarantees that constraints are met 100% of the time.

:brain: While it’s always possible to identify and supply constraints yourself, auto-detection can make your life easier if there are many possible rules, or if you don’t exactly know all the rules that exist in your dataset.

:package: The auto-detection is available as part of the CAG bundle, which was updated alongside this release. To get started, upgrade to the latest version of SDV Enterprise and CAG.

Test it out and leave us feedback in Synthetic Data Creation. Happy synthesizing!

Patch Releases

0.46.1 (Apr 7, 2026): In this release, we fixed some bugs related to some edge cases for constraints such a MixedScales, FixedCombinations, and FixedNullCombinations.

0.46.2 (Apr 15, 2026): In this release, we added an easier way to auto-detect all constraints (by passing in constraint_classes=None) and adjusted some internal settings. We also fixed a bug some users were seeing when printing out their package’s expiry date.

Is this provided in the Enterprise version only, not in the Community version?

Hi @singhe, yes this functionality is part of the CAG Bundle, which is an add-on to SDV Enterprise. It is not available in Community.
